Raven Mechanical was incorporated in the State of Texas in October, 1979 to serve the Houston and the Gulf Coast area of Texas. Raven’s home office is based in Houston TX, and in 2016 we have expanded our services from commercial to residential.
Raven Mechanical is a full service mechanical contractor with primary focus in the Houston market of service and repair, new installation and special projects. Our team of estimators and project managers is experienced in all phases of mechanical construction and at the client’s request, participates in numerous design/build projects. This expertise extends to value engineering in order to maintain a quality installation within budget guidelines. The Raven Mechanical staff performs over 90% of its work, while subcontracting the sheet metal, insulation and the controls portion of its contracts.

From the use of our CAD department, the FAB Shop and quality trained technicians in the field, Raven Mechanical keeps itself in position for new opportunities. Our contracts have ranged from the very smallest to as large as $12 million in size and have given this firm solid experience in the construction of medical projects, such as hospitals, clinics, professional offices and labs. Also included in our work history are projects such as schools, churches, industrial projects and multiple housing facilities, and local State and government projects.

The Raven team consists of approx. 40% with tenure of 10 years or longer with the Company.

Stephen has over 30 years of experience in the commercial plumbing and HVAC/R industry and holds both the Texas Responsible Master Plumber and Texas Air Conditioning Contractor licenses for Raven. Stephen joined Raven at an early age and began his career as an apprentice in the field. Since then he has held many positions at Raven, including Estimator and Project Manager, but now focuses on the overall daily operations of the company. Stephen is active in and/or has served on the boards of several industry associations, including AGC, PHCC, and the Construction Contractors Alliance. Stephen is an Eagle Scout, the proud father of three grown children, and is married to his high school sweetheart.
Executive Vice President
Ray has been a member of the Raven Team since its inception in 1979, but began full-time in 1991. Ray began is career as a laborer in the field and worked his way up through the company serving in several different roles. Ray earned his BBA from the University of St. Thomas in 1991 and is also a licensed Master Plumber. Ray is active in and/or has served on the boards of several industry associations, including ASPE and PHCC. Ray currently serves on the Board of Governors for the PHCC Education Foundation is also an ASA board member.
Executive Vice President
Greg has over 40 years of experience in the commercial plumbing and HVAC/R industry and has been a member of the Raven Team since 1983. Greg is a licensed Master Plumber and is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of Raven and works to ensure our continued commitment to safety, quality, and production.
Vice President – New Construction & Field Operations
Johnny has been with Raven for over 20 years and began his career as a plumbing apprentice. After earning his Journeyman Plumber license, he worked his way up in the field and was both a Foreman and Field Superintendent before working the next 12 years as a Project Manager. Johnny is currently responsible for the management and continued enhancement of our field processes in an effort to constantly improve upon our overall quality and performance.
Vice President – Service & Special Projects
Dustin is a licensed Master Plumber and has over 27 years in the plumbing industry. He began his career in new construction, but soon moved over to tenant build-out and service and repair. Dustin is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of both our Service and Special Projects departments.
Controller
Jennifer joined the Raven Team in 2017 and has over 15 years of experience in construction industry accounting. She began her professional career in public accounting at the Big Four firm KPMG, but has spent the last decade working in the plumbing and mechanical industry. Jennifer holds both a BBA and an MBA in Accounting from the University of St. Thomas and is a member of the AICPA. She is also active in the Construction Financial Management Association (CFMA) and is the current Treasurer for the Houston chapter of the National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC).
Senior Estimator
David has over 22 years of experience in the plumbing industry, with 18 of those in estimation. David currently leads our team of new construction estimators and is highly skilled in all phases of pre-construction, including interpreting conceptual design documents, final design documents, budgets, post-bid, and value-engineering.
Senior Project Manager
David has been with Raven for over 40 years, having begun his career as a plumbing apprentice and working his way up. David is a licensed Journeyman Plumber with a med gas endorsement and has expertise in commercial, industrial, and residential construction. In addition to his work as a Project Manager, David also serves on Raven’s Safety Committee.
Plumbing Service Manager
Keith has over 30 years of experience in the plumbing industry with over 20 of those at Raven. Keith has a broad range of knowledge in regards to all phases of plumbing installation and service, including the installation and maintenance of boilers. Keith is a licensed Master Plumber with a particular expertise in commercial and industrial plumbing and is also certified in back-flow prevention.
HVAC Construction Manager
John has over 16 years of experience in the construction industry with a strong background in HVAC construction, mechanical retrofits, design-build, mechanical special projects, plan & spec, pre-construction, and value-engineering. John currently leads our HVAC Special Projects team, which focuses on new construction, large-scale installation, and tenant build-out.
